WELCOME
Feel like connecting your kids back to nature with a farm tour?
We have an initiative called The Little Explorer’s Club

This is a farm tour you do not want to miss! We take a group of 10 – 20 of all ages, guiding them through our certified organic estate. We teach children about food security, where their food comes from, and the principles of organic farming. This is our contribution to the Ecoschool movement.

Some highlights of the tour include:
  • teaching children how to forage for their own edible weeds and seasonal produce
  • visiting our high care food processing facility to learn about heath and hygiene
  • feeding our tilapia fish and learning about the ecology of our dam
  • end the tour off eating your snacks and drinks under our 30 year old Liquid Amber trees.
  • Drinks available for sale

  1. Belinda

We took our home school group on a tour of the farm. The kids loved it! We got to learn about edible weeds and flowers. The kids especially enjoyed feeding the chickens! Thank you Ganico for opening up your farm to our children. I can definitely recommend this club to all moms and dads!

  2. Thando

We had amazing time being outside and learning about farming at Ganico. We fed fish and chickens and learnt about where our food comes from and why it is important. I can HIGHLY recommend taking your kids on a tour at Ganico.

  3. Precious

This was a perfect outing for the kids during school holidays! Fresh air and farm life. I wish there was a deli on the farm so we could buy additional snacks and goodies.
