The English Malt Tax of 1725 forced the greatest Whisky distillers to go underground and begin production at night. Using secret locations, small groups or clubs were formed to not only distill some of the best whisky, but to also taste and refine their craft. Legend has it, a small group called the Forbidden Whisky Club crafted and tasted some of the rarest and greatest whiskies. Today, we continue that tradition, by meeting in secret, at night, to taste some of the finest whisky the world has to offer.
