What is the inspiration behind our foraged gift box?

To give you a few highlights…from the soils of our farm we created an edible chocolate clay infused with naartjie. The spicy Pomracha was made using the tart and deliciously thick Pomegranate molasses straight from our orchards.

WHAT IS IN THE BOX?

CHOCOLATE CLAY WITH NAARTJIE (300g) – Inspired by the rich soils of our farm, we bring you a decadent biscuit truffle log. Ready to slice and serve as part of a high tea service or after dinner treat with liqueurs.

POMRACHA (250ml) -Pomegranate Sriracha. There is nothing like it! The perfect combination of spicy umami brightened with a tart pomegranate molasses & fresh ginger. A luxury addition to the braai menu but great with everything!

TAHINI MAYO (250ml) – An earthy nutty mayo with the tangy addition of freshly harvested lemons & white balsamic vinegar. This creamy vegan condiment is perfect with salads, smeared thick on a baguette or simply served as a delicious dip with pita chips and crunchy cucumber.

RED MISO AIOLI (212ml) – A rich and creamy umami aioli that serves well with crunchy fresh crudités, grilled seafood, or folded into a deliciously crisp chicken salad.

POMEGRANATE & ROAST PISTACHIO WHITE CHOC FUDGE – Inspired by our own farm pomegranates and warm fireplaces, we bring you a delicious fudge to be enjoyed with a freshly brewed coffee.

HIBISCUS SALT TOFFEE – Indulgent slow cooked toffee infused with vanilla bean and finished with Maldon sea salt. Paired well by the fireplace with a peated whiskey.

FYNBOS HONEY & HAZELNUT CRUNCHIES – A favourite South African tea time treat made with Fynbos honey, farm butter, coconut, oats and our special nutty twist, hazelnuts.

BLACK TAMARIND CHUTNEY (212ml) – A tart, intense chutney with the unequivocal sour notes of tamarind. Enhanced with freshly harvested ginger and cumin. This fragrant punchy chutney serves well alongside a good curry or with traditional Indian snacks such as pakoras or samoosas.
